Quote week day 2

Maybe a poem does not necessarily fit into the category of a quote, but when my son brought this to me after writing it during his devotions, I couldn't help but share it with you. It's amazing the theology that comes "out of the mouth of babes"! Boy did he bless my heart!

God is strong;
Men are wrong.
God killed His Son Who was strong;
Jesus was killed even when He did no wrong.
Hallelujah! Jesus has made me strong!

Just two days ago in my reading, I came across this verse from Psalm 8(verse 2): "From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." (NIV)

I'll admit, I kind of scratched my head at the meaning of this verse, but when I read the poem from Micah on your blog, it came right back to my mind.

What a sweet poem!! That one's for the family memory-book, for sure!
