Fun on the "course"!

We had a fun day yesterday playing miniature golf! The golf course was woven around a nursery...so there were plants everywhere and it was so pretty! They even had birds for sale...peacocks, turkeys, pheasants, doves, and chickens...so, between the 9th and 10th hole we got to enjoy part of God's bird creation!:)

Bryan pulled out the win with Nanny taking second! While I didn't win myself...I did get a "hole in one" on the first hole and the last hole (the last hole gave me a prize..a free round of golf...so I am ready for some more competition!). It was Samuel and Caleb's first time golfing and they did great!

We were thankful that the Lord allowed the rain to stay away until last night...especially since it looks like it is going to continue to fall until Gramps and Nanny leave tomorrow morning!

Here are some pictures of the fun we have been having!:)

Can you guess who got these "hole in ones"? :)

And, in other news:

A sure way to get a head ache is to play "Ticket to Ride" with 6 kids!!!

Samuel's eye is looking much better...just a nice hue of black and blue now:)

The "Old Spaghetti Factory" is still as yummy as ever!

Looks like you are having a wonderful time! And way to go on your "hole in one"... twice! :)

Samuels eye is looking better... poor guy! I just read your other post showing it all puffy. That must have hurt!
I'm so glad that you are having a great time with Nanny and Gramps. Can't wait to see you next week. Do you have any "heart healthy" restaurants in Canada? I checked online and that meal you ate at OSF was 1800 calories and lots of saturated fat :)
